As one grows, things change in many ways. From your youth to teenage days to your adulthood, there are situations that will change you; some for the better and some not as much. However, there is one thing that I have learned, that we at STRYV365 have continued to use these core values no matter the way that we live by.

These core values are what we call FACES. F stands for Foster Resiliency. It comes from continuous learning and striving to bounce back from difficult times by establishing building blocks of confidence, coping, character, and connection. The A stands for Acting with Empathy, where one seeks to understand others through active listening, responding with support and encouragement. C Stands for Cultivating Change. It involves promoting new ideas, creativity, and practices to advance our people, our mission, and values. E stands for Establishing Trust. You lead by example, model fairness, thoughtfulness, honesty, transparency, and integrity. Lastly, S stands for Serving Youth, where you display unyielding dedication to empower youth to achieve their individual and collective potential.

As I have seen, by following these core values, we are able to provide the guidance and assistance that the youth need for their growth. By using and acting on these core values, you can reach out to people despite their situation. In each situation that I have been a part of at STRYV365, I have come to realized it will always relate back to these values. The one that I find to be the most challenging is to cultivate change for one. Because people are used to their methods, but when you provide change you can see that things move in a positive direction. It is a challenge, but the results are worth it. The S to me is what STRYV wakes up to do each and every day, each situation that comes our way is one that we can empower the youth to grow. The youth are our future and we much ensure that they reach their potential to become the leaders we need in this world today and in the future.
