Did you know that November is Picture Book Month? Well, it is; and to honor all that we learn through books and learn about ourselves from reading, we are going to share with you a handful of books each week that connect to elements of social-emotional learning.

It can be difficult to explain our own feelings and emotions. This ability can be even more difficult for younger children to understand, develop, and successfully achieve when their emotions can be range up and down throughout the day and when they are working to cope with daily stress. To kick off our four-part series, we will focus on the themes of Self Awareness and Self-Management.
